(Pedal) Board Direction

Just a quick update:

Having the Z has made me want to dust of my pedal board and get back into that end of things.  Last night I took some time to clean off the board a reassemble it with the pedals that have largely sat in my cabinet, unloved and unused.

First off, I recognize the power bar and the Danelectro 9V adaptor are hardly the "pro-choice" setup, and yes - I'll eventually get around to buying a power supply from Amazon.  Understand that when I put together this board 10+ years ago, cheap power supplies were NOT a thing, so I feel like I should be getting credit for creativity. Secondly, I don't have enough small patch cables to hook everything up.  Amazon can solve this problem too.

The board itself may eventually have to go.  No slats means there's only so much I can do to clean up the mess of cables, and while it's functional, seeing all sorts of super clean pedal boards has me envious.  With the right wiring I could easily double the current usable area of this board.

The Marshall seems so... Insignificant.
Speaking of green, I'm eager to get a few more patch cables so I can hook up my Noah Sark "Green".  It's a Japanese Screamer clone, and a pretty good one.  I had a TS9 as well, and the TS9 got sold.  the only issue with this one (and hence it's non-use right now) is that the output seems to drop out here and there.  I think it may be an issue of the the switch's relationship to the circuit board and the input and output jacks.  Basically, this thing is the opposite of bullet proof design - I'm going to crack it open and take my first stab at trouble shooting a pedal this weekend.

I'm hoping the eventual addition of a power supply, along with some decent patch cables, will lead to some more real estate opening up on the board.  The JHS VCR videos out there have me so badly wanting a chorus/reverb option, though I remember selling my Boss CE-5 because it didn't' get along with the Maz 38 at all.

I'm also getting pretty close to selling the Marshall, because of course I am.
