Vintage Telecaster - $175

In case you were unaware, "Vintage" is a UK brand (far-east made) that has something to do with Trev Wilkinson, designer of many lovely guitar parts... Which probably means he designed the parts? So that's... good?

To be honest, I have no first hand experience with anything "Wilkinson", but people seem to speak highly of him, and these guitars, so I think less than $175 for a Telecaster with half decent parts is probably a pretty good deal.  At $150 it would be hard to complain.

Peavey Raptor and Rage Amp - $75

Really hard to argue with the price here.  Even if the guitar is a flop (it won't be), you end up with a pretty decent practice amp.  Few pedals cost this little new, and the fact that this comes with a gig bag makes a crazy deal just plain nuts.

1982 Squier "JV" Stratocaster - $3,800

Wait, what?

You read that number correctly.  This seller is convinced that this guitar is worth CUSTOM SHOP FENDER money.  I can only think that this posting exists to balance the universe against the previous one.

Yes, there is lots of talk about how "JV" Squiers are very desirable (JV refers to the serial number), but this reaches much too far.  If I saw this listed for $900 I'd think it was overpriced but not unheard of... This is just madness.
Madness?

1995 Fender Stratocaster Plus - $1100

Mark my words: Fender is going to bring back the Stratocaster plus at some point in the near future.

Black Strats, popular undoubtedly because of Mr. Clapton, can go one of two ways: They can look super awesome like Pete Honore's Fender CS, but usually they look like a Squier starter guitar.

Not in this case.  This guitar looks awesome, right down the acceptable cigarette burn on the headstock. Lace Sensor pickups and that LSR roller nut are pretty sweet, and although I've seen examples of these for less money in the last 12 months, this is by no means a bad price. I could easily see myself falling in love with something like this.
