What happens when you're happy?
Can you imagine being completely satisfied with your setup?
Neither can I, and I say that as someone who recently has found a pretty happy mix of pedals that gives me great tones with any guitar I decide to pull off the wall. No, not all pedals sound great with all guitars, but each guitar gets enough love on the board to be happy.
Can't justify the coin for a high end version of such a guilty pleasure, but this is the best price I've seen on one of these in six months.
You should buy it instead.
If there's one thing that I'm not thrilled with when it comes to the old Squier Stratocaster I purchased, it's the neck. Too flat and small for big hands, but damn if that 12" radius and thin neck don't make for a fast guitar.
Too bad the pickups are weak sauce. I'd really like to throw a set of EMGs in it, only because I really want a full EMG Strat set, but am not putting those in any of my other Strats.
Given how unpopular these pickups are these days, the price needs to be better before I go.

Would you believe that this board involves a Metal Zone? Look, if Biffy Clyro can be ok with it, I can be too.
But you know, being happy doesn't mean I don't want to be MORE happy, right?...

Wampler Triple Wreck - $175
Metal Zone replacement? I'm actually not sure to be honest, after watching the Andertons video comparing this to the Metal Zone (the Metal Zone faired well). Truth be told, the Metal Zone is nearly at the end of the chain, and used only for ridiculous riffage a la Pantera. Can't justify the coin for a high end version of such a guilty pleasure, but this is the best price I've seen on one of these in six months.

Fender Acoustasonic - $130
My daughter got a knock-off Shure SM58 from Santa in her stocking, and she recently asked if she "could have a little amp for her mic and her guitar.
Dammit.
This is stupid price though. I could walk into a store and get it for this.
Which I'll end up doing pretty soon I guess...

Jackson Soloist SLAT X - $650
Purple.
I shouldn't have to say anything else, but I will. Neck through, 24 fret, string through body, purple, three to a side evil Jackson headstock, purple, purple, purple, pink?
I'm not looking to spend $650 on a guitar right now, but man I'd like to have this one.
Digitech RP100 - $50
I don't want this for any GOOD reason. When I was in college a friend of mine bought this in an attempt to get himself a wider range of sounds through his Peavey Rage and Epiphone Les Paul. The problem was, he left his gear at my place, and we only played together on Wednesdays, so he really never had the time to tinker with it.
Not that it was any good. I would occasionally use it as a headphone amp, turning on the harmony effect with lots of distortion and reverb and playing the theme to Top Gun a lot.
Nostalgia is a powerful thing though, and for $40 I think it would be cool to compare this to the Korg unit I have...
