Selling a Kidney?
I happened into the music store of my youth over the weekend.
The results were not good.
I didn't have an agenda for going in, and there certainly wasn't anything on my radar. After saying a quick hello to one of the staff who has been there since I first started going there, my wife pointed out a Champagne Gold PRS CE24 on the wall.
"That one's nice," she said.
"Yeah, it is. Hold my jacket," I replied.
Whoops.
I've never really spent any time with PRS, but I was blown away by how comfortable the whole thing was. the guitar was light, resonant, easy to play (despite high action), and just felt amazing.
And I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. I've posted a smattering of listings on Kijiji to gauge feasibility of making this happen.
Couple of things I'm not sure about:

Couple of things I'm not sure about:
- Nearly $3K for a guitar is nuts
- The neck is 3 pieces of maple. Scarf joint near the headstock. Cleanest one I've ever seen, but I saw it.
- Bridge has steel block, not brass.
- Gig bag included, not case. Some say this is better. I dunno.
- I Played two other CE24s this afternoon at the shop near my office. Not nearly as good. The gold is also last years color. Is it really that good?
Sigh.
This is just dumb. I'd have to sell a bunch of stuff to get halfway there.
Still though...
