Friday's Failures

Here's the rundown of the silliest, stupidest, and downright ripoff-i-est postings I've come across in the past week.  Keep 'em coming Kijijiots.

I'm not saying that each of these is a person trying to screw you, but...
Well, it IS walking like a duck, isn't it?

"You Again?"

Hey! Look who is posting again, and for $300! I guess those people lined up around the block didn't pan out.  Well, he's back, asking for that same $300.  Who wants to bet it doesn't get sold?

"Rare Materials"

Apparently this seller doesn't know what guitars are usually made of.
"Electronic blues Ibanez guitar is very light compare to other ones because it's wood. Around 700$"
A guitar made of wood?  Next you'll tell me that you have a car that runs on gas? Get. Out.

"The Art of Negotiation"

Patience is usually required in negotiation - This is the opposite of that. In response to my "Squier Vintage Modified Jag" posting, the following emails were received last night.  I was asleep.  Apparently, I'm a better negotiator when I'm unconscious.

11:10:
"I will give you 300"
11:17:
"Ok how about this 250 plus a squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass and harley davidson strap jazz bass"
11:21
"Ok 400 dose it have a case
Why won't you respond!?!?

UPGRADES!!!

You know how I feel about upgrades.  How about an Epiphone Dot ($549.99 Retail), with Burstbucker pickups.  Sure, those pickups are $140 each, but this is the neighborhood Caprice Classic with 21' spinners.
"Beautiful black Epiphone Dot ES335 electric guitar with gig bag. I replaced epi pickups with Gibson Burstbuckers so it now has a sweet, rich sound."
I bet it does sound sweet.  I also bet you're not going to sell it asking $599.

"Korn? Is that still a thing?"

Asking $599 for a used 7 string Epi Les Paul seems steep to me; Ibanez is cornering the market with 7 and 8 strings with quality low cost guitars that are starting to pop up on Kijiji.

I'm willing to bet that this gets posted again, and then again.  $400 is probably the right price here.  Or maybe Korn and Limp Bizkit make big comebacks.

"Poor Telecaster"

This would be a great guitar, and almost identical to the one I picked up in trade train #4.  $1300 might seem like a decent deal, but... Stickers?!?! Terrible. Just terrible.  You're not getting $1300 with stickers.
